Multiple Kernel-Package is a good thing, I just would like to have more options in the kernel-image installation parts. Exemple, queried adding of the image into the current lilo config (especially when not modified from the maintainer ones), support for grub (although I not used it and don't what this imply), removing the compact default of lilo.conf [must newbie are really confused when they get a lilo prompt who you won't boot just because of this]. Especially, I *suggest* a naming scheme like this: Default lilo.conf: image=/vmlinuz label=Linux image=/vmlinuz.old label=Backup image=/boot/vmlinuz-x.x.x label=Linux-X.X.X I'm sure this can't be let like this but I think you catch the scheme [ why having the vmlinuz.old backup if you can't used it easily? ] -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Fabien Ninoles E-mail: fab@tzone.org WebPage: http://www.callisto.si.usherb.ca/~94246757 You can get my public key from your nearest public keys server!
