I have been wondering about this...since I don't know much about patents
in General...
is a non-RSAREF version illegal in the US? I really mean illegal to USE
(I know that distributing it would NOT be legal because of RSAs
patent and how they licence RSAREF) but could one download the
international version from outside and legally USE it
(of course with identical output who is to say anyway?)

Well if memory serves (It has been a while) it is slower than the
alternatives. though....I like the RSAREF library...very nice portable C...
works great.
Much more pleasing code than the PGP source code....
