I don't have wordstar keybindings. In fact joe comes with half a dozen
different sets of keybindings. So we pick one or write our own custom
Debian bindings. Not a problem.

vi - hard to use, but small.
emacs - hard to use and huge.
If you put one on the disk, the people who use the other will complain.
And neither are very friendly to new users. ae doesn't work like you'd
expect it to even by reading the help at the top of the screen, and I've
had ae many times get confused and treat its command keys as normal
characters.
Is there anything on the boot floppies still using ncurses? If so, lets
port the stuff to slang and get a decent editor in there. mmm, porting
joe would not be easy I think. =< Anybody have better suggestions?
