See the work needing and prospective packages list, at
http://www.debian.org/doc/prospective-packages.html , and when you see
something that could interest you, contact the person who orphaned it,
or has offered it up for adoption. If you'd like a package someone has
already declared his, but there is no package in the distribution yet,
contact the person and ask.
