I intend to package the Common UNIX Printing system, available from www.cups.org. It is a replacement for lpd, with SysV and BSD commands, that also provides MIME printing, Internet Printing Protocol, direct printing to Samba/Windows printers, a backend and driver system, and lots of other goodies.
