anyone working on slapd with SSL support?

Hi,

LDAP directories frequently contain sensitive information.
Thus SSL (or SASL) support would be fine.

It seems that the openldap slapd does provide SSL support
but the openldapd debian package does not supply encryption
(am I right here?)

Is anyone working on SSL support for slapd?
