Has anybody debianized Jef Poskanzer's thttpd?
I have searched through the stable and unstable package list,
and <doc/prospective-packages.html> but did not find Jef
Poskanzer's thttpd (thttpd - tiny/turbo/throttling HTTP server)
mentioned.
Since I wanted to have a small, fast, and static-files only
httpd to run on my perimeter host, I have packaged it for my own
use, but am wondering if Debian community would benefit this as
well. Please see <http://www.acme.com/> for the upstream if you
are interested.
If nobody is already working on this, I would volunteer to
contribute this to Debian and maintain it.
The upstream copyright is attached at the end of this message.
My reading of it is that it is open source and could go to main
distribution.
