[comp.os.linux.announce] CIPE 1.3.0 - encrypting IP tunnel



Hi,

and here's another interesting announce from cola which could be interesting
for Debian. As we currently don't have any package containing such a tool.

Version 1.3.0 of the CIPE package has just been released.

CIPE is a package for an encrypting IP tunnel device. This can be used
to build encrypting routers for VPN (Virtual Private Networks) and
similar applications. Currently for Linux only, using its own
(completely documented) protocol.

Important changes from previous versions:
- - Easier to install.
- - Better support for co-existence of different configurations.
- - Keepalive ping mechanism.
