ITP: whois-ripe
Hi!
Whois-ripe is a special version of the standard whois client that adds
several options to access additional features of the RIPE whois database.
RIPE is the central registry in Europe, you can check IP-assignments and
domain registrations via their whois server, and you can do things like
extended search and template fetching.
I am currently not a debian developer, but my PGP key (Key id 0xAF498931,
available on the key servers and at
http://www.westfalen.de/hugo/pgpkeys.asc) is already signed by several
debian developers, so that shouldn't be a problem.
If there are no objections against the package and nobody else already did
it, I would like to apply as developer. Comments?
