Re: itp: static bins / resolving static debian issues



Presumably it would go into the unstable distribution rather than
just immediately appearing in stable? When I began this thread, several
people told me that if I didn't want to risk a broken system, I 
shouldn't run unstable. 

Any problems it causes will presumably come to light; and then it can 
be rolled back, toyed with, and tried again when those problems have 
been addressed. 

I thought this is how Debian development was supposed to work.
