Package looking for good home: dpkg-mountable

[Please copy me on any replies; I do subscribe to -devel, but my
mailbox currently has ~6000 unread messages in it, so the chances of
me missing any replies are quite high!]

Dear all,

It is with great regret that I announce my intention to pass
dpkg-mountable on. I've got rather attached to it since I wrote it,
but it doesn't really fit my setup any more, and so I haven't even run
it for a year or so, and I don't think I'm the best person to look
after it! Added to this, I can't work out whether it's relevant any
more, with apt and so on.

So, if somebody wants to take over maintenance of this package, I
would love to hear from you: this means not only packaging, but
"upstream" maintainership as well. So far as bugs go, there is one
slightly major bug (#15845 and friends) which is yet to be solved, a
few minor ones -- half of which are already solved, actually, but the
fixes haven't been uploaded as I haven't managed to test them -- and a
few wishlist items. I can provide my CVS development tree if you want
it, and I'm pretty sure I have a few changes here which never made it
into the archive.

(Just for my interest, do people use dpkg-mountable any more? I
haven't looked at apt closely enough to know whether it does
everything that dpkg-mountable would do now, but I know it came pretty
close last I looked ...)

Thanks,

Andy
