gtk tutorial from v1.2 is dated February 21st, 1999, and is not outdated.  
gtk/glib/gdk manuals from libgtk*-doc seems to be  unsupported, or, at
least, unupdated for a long time. gtk-faq should be left in potato too.
 
So manuals could be removed without any loss for gtk docs.
