Right now, no one is working on DNSSEC, although several people have
expressed interest. We could procede with an El'Gammal variant or
wait until RSA expires, or do the development in a country without

I spoke with Theo of OpenBSD at Usenix; they are interested in perhaps using
Dents for DNSSEC development, although they have not put anyone on it yet.
He suggested moving the CVS server outside of the states, and I would have
no problem doing this.
All of this is very premature; DNSSEC is very heavyweight, and few
people will need it. Being a year behind the times on DNSSEC won't
affect most people. The important part is having a good server for the
RFC-1035 core of the protocol, which is what 99.9% of all applications
use.
