Hi folks, I hope this is the right place for this: In the past few days, /etc/ld.so.conf must have its permissions changed to 600. The result: I can't run xdvi as non-root, getting an error stating something to the effect that /etc/ld.so.conf can't be read. I changed it to 644 and everything works fine again.
