So, you're telling me that Linux should be pronounced with a short i (like
bit) and a long u (like rude) (oh, an unintentional subliminal message; didn't
mean that to happen), which are the vowel sounds of Unix in English?
Weird. I've always pronounced Linux with a long i & a short u. (or did
you think Unix was pronounced differently? :))
