There are already two addons for Gamera [1] available in Debian, the general
OCR toolkit (ocr4gamera) and the Greek script recognition addon (greekocr4gamera).
This addon is currently discussed on the Gamera discussion list, and could be
added also to Debian now.

Gamera and and other packages are all maintained (by me) within the Debian
Python Modules Team, and this is going to be, too. The binary package is
going to be "python-gamera.toolkits.psaltiki".
