Many thanks, I'll try to do this.

I thought I should give an update on my progress: Santiago Vila started work on packaging recode 3.7, one of the packages I mentioned, so I did some work to help with that. That has actually taken most of my time until now.

However, I have also found some time to work on the packaging of mmv. I think this is one of the clearest-cut packages in the list I mentioned: I am the (new) upstream of mmv, and I have made a new release.

Having just now got the new Debian packaging building without error, I shall now follow the ITS procedure and see what happens!
