Now, it's been over a year ago, the current es.po file in dpkg says: "POT-Creation-Date: 2003-10-27 13:43-0600\n" "PO-Revision-Date: 2001-06-10 21:10+0200\n" The po file has 28 fuzzy translations and 20 untranslated messages (these include some fairly important sections such as the program's usage and dselect's screen). There has been no discussion in the debian-l10n-spanish list regarding some of the terms that Santiago thought should not be changed.... Ok, enough is enough. I'm attaching to this mail a revised version of the po file (and also the diff against the previous version). This version does _not_ contain the terms Santiago did not like (so there's still 'corrupto' and 'conffiles'). I'm retagging this bug (my first attempt with 'l10n' tag) and I would like dpkg maintainers to consider replacing the current es.po with this file. Santiago, feel free to say ok too if you so wish. It needs revision (I probably have made some typos here and there) but, still, it's best than a _very_ out of date translation in a core package. Regards Javi
