New Checksums-* entries in changes files
Hi
why do we need 3 different checksums for the files in a .changes file?
I can understand the need to enhance it with other things than md5, but
why do we now end up with the old Files: and two SHA* below it?
Could you limit the additional fields to just one?
Especially as its an *IMO* useless SHA-1 followed by SHA-256. Erm, why?
Just take 256? (Even if dpkg is able to generate lots of hashes, which
is fine, why do they need to be in the generated .changes? Select one
that gets into it. Dont do useless space waste please.)
Anyway, I also noticed a bug somewhere in the toolchain dealing with
those new fields. Look at the paste below, compare the sizes of the dsc
files. Looks like something writes the checksums before dsc gets signed
or something.
