Okay, I take that as "Debian doesn't care about derivatives". 
Suggesting users to revert to split-/usr *will* break stuff for users
once more code Debian assumes merged-/usr.

Okay, I guess the very long drama about this last year was not
sufficiently long and we did not discuss it in sufficient detail.

I'm a bit disappointed how the ctte appears to do as much as they can
to avoid deciding on this :-(
