Call for artworks: wallpapers, banners etc.

Dear pixel designer and gimp artists,

let's start a Skolelinux artworks contest!

Personally, I created some wallpaper using GIMP. The result can be seen

I am sure, you can do better! :)

Apart from wallpapers, there could be some interest for banners:
60 x 486 seems to be a common dimension for this, cf. e.g.
