Thanks a lot for the information.
Hmm as I thought it creates an image from a current installation, nice.
I still think that my suggestion below is right.

The LiveBackup system from sourceforge is not debianized.
It is good to hear that all the packages on the CD are Debian Packages,
nevertheless for getting them integrated into the official distribution we
need to include them.
Please notice that I don't want to judge or say that only official software
included in Debian or Debian-Edu is good, that's not my intention.

I fully agree that a LiveCD can be a nice showcase and help us.

What exaclty needs to be translated, the packages?
Therefore I suggest to put the manpower on integrating them into Debian and
Debian-Edu, because then we also reach a lot of translators within Debian and
can benefit from that.

Xavier already added some things to the metapackage, we are still waiting for
the packages.

Because we need to solve two things, first decide from were to image, I would
suggest developer

@Pere/Werner: What's your opinion? Any plans for developer so far?

Second one would be to integrate the packages and make them official,
otherwise we would have a completely different LiveCD than the german team
has.

A third point would maybe be that LiveBackput itself is not debianized and I
would like to see that too, any volunteers? I can maybe also have a look.

Cheers
Steffen
