In my dhcpd.conf, fixed-address occurs with "staticXY" host names.
Those are mapped to IPs in (generic) bind configurations.
Any problem with reusing the same hostname there, like:
host static100 { hardware ethernet 00:03:...; fixed-address static100; }
host static100a { hardware ethernet 00:1...; fixed-address static100; }
?
Otherwise I
- could use blank IPs there
- define additional host names in DNS settings.
