The easiest solution is probably to collect the docs from the new location, specified in d/elpa-transient-doc.docs, but that needs to be verified.
Probably not the best idea; this way the package becomes incompatible to TeXinfo 6.8. Rather consider to use option "--output=<name>" of makeinfo to change the directory where the files are written. H. -- sigfault
