Hi,I tried Inconsolata and ConsolaMono fonts and I have the same problem (see the attachment). Did you find a fix for that ?
I found the following link that's suggest to modify the .fonts.conf file but it don't works for me. It's possible that GNOME overwrite this configuration with gconf params, and I don't know if the auto-hinter is activated by default.
