Dear Fonts Task Force, I'd like to update the octicons package to the latest release, and in that context drop the obsolete web and TTF fonts (i.e. the fonts-octicons binary package), because those are no longer built by upstream. AFACIT there are no reverse dependencies in Debian yet, but the updated octicons is a requirement for sphinx-design. I am aware of the 1800 day old RC bug and it will be fixed by the update as well. I'd be happy to co-maintain octicons and add myself as uploader. I can also join the Fonts team if you prefer, but it is unlikely that I will package much more font related stuff.
