Bug#376797: free(): invalid pointer running piespy

Package: java-gcj-compat
Version: 1.0.56-2
Severity: normal

When I run piespy [1] using the following command:
/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.4.2-gcj-4.1-1.4.2.0/bin/java -Djava.awt.headless=true -classpath .:./lib/pircbot.jar org.jibble.socnet.SocialNetworkBot ./config.ini

When two people are talking on a channel, and it attempts to generate a
graph, it crashes with:
*** glibc detected *** free(): invalid pointer: 0x080c3a50 ***
