On sparc, it's not also the failure... Is it gcc-2.95.4 i386 problem?

Yup.
The reason I test some archs is more safe and preventing from
libc failure before we update it.

Oh, I missed this mail. Apparently alpha cannot be built it with the
latest binutils. I think waiting for -14 is ok around this issue.
