Package: predict
Version: 2.2.2-4
Severity: normal

-- System Information:
Debian Release: testing/unstable
  APT prefers testing
  APT policy: (500, 'testing')
Architecture: i386 (i686)
Kernel: Linux 2.4.25-1-686
Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US

Versions of packages predict depends on:
ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an
ii libncurses5 5.4-4 Shared libraries for terminal hand
ii netbase 4.17 Basic TCP/IP networking system

-- no debconf information

When trying to edit settings in predict, for example Ground Station
Information (G from main menu), using either the left or right arrow
key results in garbage being printed to the screen. This prevents one
from arrowing to an individual character and making a change. Rather,
only the backspace key is respected. Other keys such as Home and End
print garbage as well and should be respected. Other keys should be
ignored such as the up and down arrow keys unless moving through the
fields with them is desired.

Clearly, this is an upstream issue as I have noticed the same behavior
on my own compiled binaries.
