Re: Condor Upload

Hello Andreas,

Thank you for your help. I forgot to push the pristine-tar branch. Now they are divergent. So, I'll have to resolve that.

I'll see if I can resolve the lintian issues with the help of the debian-mentors list.

I do not understand why they got these lintian errors. The build passes on
salsa.
It passes on Salsa and it has passed on my local build.
I did see these errors before. However, I already added the appropriate
lintian overrides.

  * debian/condor.lintian-overrides
  * debian/source/lintian-overrides

Could their processing pipeline ignore these lintian overrides?
This seems obvious but I never experienced this before.

Were these files present in your submission?
Please note: You should definitely add pristine-tar information -
specifically in repackaged source. I did so and you can check this.
Please not this for future commits.

Is there some additional work to do when using lintian overrides?

Do we need to ask someone else for advice?
Since I'm basically offline until 9th of January I have no time to track
this down. You might like to ask on debian-mentors@lists.debian.org
meanwhile.
Kind regards
     Andreas.

Somehow I did not got this lintian error. This should be fixed
first. I've added TODO to Git changelog.

Kind regards
     Andreas.

HTCondor 23.2.0 is ready to go. Let me know what the next steps are.
I've build the package locally and sponsored the package on behalf of
you to Debian New queue.[1] Depending from the time ftpmaster will be
able to spent the package will be processed sooner or later (might be
weeks or months and is hard to predict). If all wents fine the package
will be accepted. Otherwise ftpmaster will reject and tell us what to
do.

Thank you for your work on this package
      Andreas.
