just the one package or all of "testing" (aka sarge) release?

Mixing released bits is a very risky thing to do.
I've documented how I was shown to do it for testing/unstable here:

Because of glibc and other dynamic lib versioning issues, I wouldn't
reccomend the above for a stable/testing hybrid system.

You can also just grab the *hppa.deb and install with "dpkg -i"
by hand - and satisfying any dependencies by hand too.
Not sure that's feasible or safe to do though.
