I can't seem to get the kernel to load. i'm on the first partition of the second drive i start off with root=(hd1,0) then kernel=/boot/gnumach root=hd1s1 i noticed that the kernel is /boot/gnumach.gz and tried both ways with no success. the partition is type 83 (linux) and i've created the filesystem with the -o hurd thanks alot. brian mcquay
