Now, /etc/motd

Hi all,

Why does the HURD print motd before you log in ? Linux prints it after
it, and I think that's the proper way, because it can contain system
information, useless if you are not logged.
So, I think that motd should be printed after the login, and if you
want some stuff to be printed before, just use /etc/login/.profile to
print it.

Well, if this could be ok, where is motd print (in the sources) ? I
would try to change it.

Thanks.
