System requirements
So, I have a machine free to try to install the Hurd on. Before I
download the files and clean up the hard drive, what are the system
requirements for the Hurd? In particular:
* Will it run on a 386?
* Will it run in 8 megs of RAM?
* How much hard drive space does it require?
By run, here, I mean "be usable for testing".
Is it worth a try running the Hurd over NFS? In particular, with an
NFS root? I have more space on another machine on the LAN. I saw a
claim a long time ago that NFS was more stable than ext2...
Thanks,
Andrew
