That's true, but then - the most important point in that case is only fdisk
in Linux and other free fdisk clones since about everybody using Hurd, will
use one of these. Right now, Linux fdisk shows "GNU Hurd" for ID 63 and
that's where people get that wrong idea that might be useful for anything...

Correcting it here should solve 99% of the problem.
