All the tests I've done with 'fsck -pw --debug' and
'e2fsck -p /dev/hd2s2' were done right after a boot in single-user mode
with a clean root filesystem (no message before the hurd server
bootstrap).
The original problem was when I boot in multi-user mode with a clean
root filesystem (no message before the hurd server bootstrap) fsck
crashs systematically.
I have just try several times to boot in multi-user mode with a dirty
root filesystem (there is the message before hurd server bootstrap) and
fsck always worked.
Bye,
