This adapter is known to cause troubles. If you have time, you could try
to compile your own gnumach.

For a quick fix, compile one only with the SCSI driver you need.

For a better fix, try to update the driver to the current linux version and
see if the default configuration works too.

You can cross compile gnumach easily.
