Wrong here. Autoconfiguration is for hosts not for routers.

It's not. On Linux as ipv6 router (forwarding enabled) you need to set real routes.
(In Alexey words: ,,real routers have real routes''). On host you can use default route.
I'm for example using it withour any problems.
