Enabling IPv6 in Sendmail 'woody'
Hi all
>From a NetBSD sendmail ipv6 installation I know that adding those lines to
the mc file should be fine to enable ipv6 in sendmail.
DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Family=inet, Name=MTA')dnl
DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Family=inet6, Name=MTA6')dnl
But when I create sendmail.cf and restart sendmail I get this output:
Dec 20 18:50:23 magma sm-mta[9335]: NOQUEUE: SYSERR(root): opendaemonsocket:
daemon MTA6: cannot bind: Address already in use
Dec 20 18:50:23 magma sm-mta[9335]: daemon MTA6: problem creating SMTP socket
But there is no binding on port 25 I can see with netstat -a or lsof | grep
IPv6
Anybody and idea what's broken? As told this config works fine on NetBSD.
