Subject: ide-tape & MAKEDEV.ide

Hello list,

I set up a system with an HP 5G tape backup. Debian loaded fine, recognized the tape, loaded ide-tape and changed 'hdd' to 'ht0'. But it didn't make the entries into /dev. I checked the How-tos, FAQ, etc and found that I needed Makedev.ide. Okay, so where is it?

Thanks!
