Yes. At least, I have it installed and I am connected to a network with
Appletalk nodes.

No, it should be a standard install.

In fact, I have it there, but I am not using it. Maybe I could also
remove it. But yes, last time I tried to use it, it did not work and I
had not the time to find out why.
