Package: linux-image-2.6.20.3
Version: 3
Severity: normal

If initramfs-tools are installed, the kernel fails to install with this
message:

Setting up linux-image-2.6.20-1-k7 (2.6.20-3) ...
Running depmod.
Finding valid ramdisk creators.
Failed to find suitable ramdisk generation tool for kernel version
2.6.20-1-k7 on running kernel 2.6.18 in /usr/sbin/mkinitrd.yaird
dpkg: error processing linux-image-2.6.20-1-k7 (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 9

Interesting is, that it looked for yaird, but I purged yaird recently in
favor for initramfs-tools.
According the dependencies, initramfs-tools should be an alternaive to
yaird and sufficient.

dpkg -l intiramfs-tools yaird

Mmm, indeed, there is still yaird in it.. I cannot remember, that
i manually configured it that way.

However, it seems that is was a clear case of FBKS :-|

Thanks for the hint. I feel free to close the bug then...
