Well, the current server is a Linux-machine (Debian/woody), but I've
had similar errors with "rm -r" (rm: cannot remove `...': No such file
or directory) a few years ago with a Linux client and a server under
Solaris (though the rm -r algorithm was different at that time).

I can't reproduce the problem currently.
