Package: linux-2.6
Version: 2.6.32-3
Severity: normal

I don't seem to have the CPU flags for Intel virtualisation from the processor
to run KVM, Xen and friends. I double-checked the BIOS and virtualisation
is enabled (it's a Q45 chipset with a Core2Duo E7400 processor, and a recent
BIOS).

I'm happy to include other information or try things if you direct me, since my
kernel experience is limited. I did wonder if I needed to load a module.

Thanks.

Sadly I can't find the original box (I suspect it's been thrown away in a
fit of tidying over the holiday) so I can't be sure about which processor I
have, but looking at the original invoice there's a good chance it's the
cheapest of the lot, which doesn't have vmx.

Thanks for the specs page, which I hadn't seen, and sorry for wasting your
time,
