Why would anyone do that? You are doing nothing here other than
attempting to make the support matrix bigger than necessary.

If you can identify a specific patch which fixes this issue then please
propose it to the upstream kernel stable team for backport, then it
might flow through into Debian in the natural course of things.

Otherwise please don't expect this issue to be fixed.
