I noticed that cramfs still exists in the archive and is listed as maintained by the kernel team (probably because it was previously maintained by Herbert Xu). You uploaded it once, but that was a decade ago! cramfs is unmaintained upstream, and in the kernel is deprecated in favour of squashfs. The description refers to use for the initrd, but we've been using an initramfs instead since Linux 2.6. Is it time to remove it?
