Re: Mouse becomes unusable after system wakes from sleep

Hi Matt,

I never found a real "solution" to this problem. I ended up just
upgrading my way around it, so to speak.

I was able only to trace it down to an unhandled IRQ. I posted the
details of this in several places:

https://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2015/04/msg01223.html
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97131
http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.linux.usb.general/125021

After the reply I got to the last of these posts, the bottomline was that

  * the unhandled IRW was *possibly* due to some kernel bug; but
  * I was working with a pretty old kernel (3.2.0), and it was
therefore unlikely that this putative bug would ever be fixed; and
therefore,
  * I should try upgrading my kernel.

Fortuitously, right around the time that I was fighting with this,
Debian's version turned over, and after I upgraded from wheezy to
jessie, I no longer saw the problem.

Good luck.
