Dear Maintainer,

After upgrading from linux-image-4.7.0-1-armmp 4.7.8-1 to
linux-image-4.8.0-1-armmp 4.8.7-1, my Mele A1000G set top box can no
longer mount the root filesystem on boot and gives up waiting for it
to appear:

After debugging via irc that turned out to be a missing i2c driver. The
PMIC on the i2c bus needs to provide a regulator to make usb work.
Upgrading to initramfs-tools to 0.126 fixed this. (#825687)
