Bug#907320: Automatic upgrade of firmware-{adi,ralink} packages is still broken
Package: src:firmware-nonfree
Version: 20151018-2
Severity: important
The firmware-{adi,ralink} binary packags were folded into the
firmware-misc-nonfree package, which Replaces and Breaks the former.
But if a system has only, say, firmware-ralink, installed, APT will
never replace this with firmware-misc-nonfree.
We need to restore firmware-{adi,ralink} as transitional packages
for at least one release cycle.
Ben.
