Bug#963558: firmware-qlogic: Missing qed/qed_init_values_zipped-8.42.2.0.bin
Package: firmware-qlogic
Version: 20190717-2
Severity: important
Hi,
Recent linux kernels (at lease 5.6) requires a new version of the
qlogic firmware.
qed/qed_init_values_zipped-8.42.2.0.bin can be found in the linux
kernel sources; for example here:
https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/tree/qed
Our current workaround is to manually copy this file, but
we would be pleased if you add it into firmware-qlogic
Regards
Vincent
